Curated Cocktails

This event is no longer on sale.

Wednesday March 10

5:30 PM  –  6:30 PM

Fancy a tipple with your favorite Chrysler curators? Join us for a virtual happy hour inspired by works of art. Local bartender Josh Seaburg will demonstrate how to craft a signature cocktail so you can sip while delving into a work currently on view at the Museum, all from the comfort of your home.

For our first Curated Cocktails happy hour, we will take a trip to Spain with William Merritt Chase's Carmencita, a highlight of Americans in Spain. Corey Piper, Ph.D., Brock Curator of American Art, will give an in-depth look at the artwork. Seaburg will demonstrate how to make a bourbon-based cocktail inspired by Carmencita and share fascinating connections between the drink and the painting.
