Join us for a virtual discussion of My Wild Garden: Notes from a Writer's Eden by Meir Shalev. The book club is inspired by the Chrysler's current exhibition, If You Thirst for a Homeland: Flameworked glass by Dafna Kaffeman. Both Kaffeman and Shalev find inspiration in the beauty and fragility of the natural environment.
This program is presented in partnership with the 11th Annual Israel Today Series presented by the Jewish Community Relations Council of the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater, Simon Family JCC, and Community Partners, who will be sponsoring a virtual appearance by the author at this program.
