Clear as Crystal: Colorless Glass from the Chrysler Museum showcases contemporary artworks and historical objects from the Museum’s permanent collection. Discover the fascinating material properties of glass, the optics of light, and the history of colorless glass. Carolyn Swan Needell, PhD., the Carolyn and Richard Barry Curator of Glass, and Allison Taylor, Director of Education, will lead the three-hour virtual workshop. Robin Rogers, Glass Studio Manager, will illustrate the properties of glass via a live demonstration. This professional development opportunity is perfect for teachers interested in how art and STEM disciplines intersect.
